CBSE and ICSE Test Series for Classes 9 and 10

Timed, board-pattern tests from October to February, checked by our teachers with written feedback. At our Kharghar centre or online.

Why a test series makes the difference

Most students lose marks not because they have not studied, but because they have not practised writing a full paper in time. A test series turns knowledge into exam performance: it builds speed, shows exactly where marks are being lost, and takes away the fear of the real exam.

The TBTLC Test Series runs from October to February for CBSE and ICSE students in Classes 9 and 10, with separate papers for each board.

How the series builds up

  • October to November: chapter tests. Short tests on one or two chapters at a time, to close gaps while there is still time.
  • December: unit and half-syllabus tests. Longer papers that mix chapters, as the school and board exams will.
  • January to February: full-length prelims. Complete papers on the latest CBSE or ICSE pattern, written in the real exam time.

Papers follow the current board pattern, including competency-based and case-based questions for CBSE, and the section structure of ICSE papers.

Checked by teachers, not just marked

Every answer sheet is checked by our teachers, the way a board examiner would. Students get:

  • marks with written feedback on presentation, steps, diagrams and wording;
  • a discussion of the paper, with the model method for each question;
  • an error log of repeated mistakes to revise before the next test;
  • regular progress updates for parents, so you can see how scores move across the series.

At the centre or online

  • At the centre: students write the test in exam conditions at our Sector 20 centre in Kharghar.
  • Online: students write the paper at home in the set time and upload their answer sheet for checking. Feedback comes back the same way.

Subjects

  • CBSE: Mathematics, Science, Social Science and English.
  • ICSE: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History and Civics, Geography and English.
