Why English deserves proper attention
English affects marks in every subject. A student who writes clearly and accurately scores better in Science, Social Studies and Literature alike. In ICSE, English Language and Literature are two separate board papers; in CBSE, reading, writing, grammar and literature are tested together. Both reward practice that is regularly corrected.

What we cover
- Grammar: the rules behind correct sentences, practised until they become habit.
- Writing: compositions, letters, notices, reports and answers written to the word limit.
- Literature: close reading of prescribed texts, characters, themes and quotations, and how to use them in answers.
- Reading comprehension: reading carefully and answering precisely.
CBSE and ICSE, taught separately
ICSE and CBSE English papers differ in structure and texts, so students study in batches for their own board. English is part of our Board Mastery programme for Classes 9 and 10, with weekly reviews and revision cycles.
Where we are
The Banyan Tree Learning Center is at Shop Nos. 18 & 19, Krishna Residency, Plot No. 13, Sector 20, near Shilp Chowk, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai 410210. Students come to us from sectors across Kharghar. The centre is open Monday to Saturday, 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm, and closed on Sundays. Get directions.
